DescriptionThis session will discuss the unique impacts of mercury contamination on Native Peoples, including American Indian tribes that fish in the Great Lakes, the Pacific Northwest, and elsewhere.  It will consider the interrelated cultural, social, economic, political, ecological and human health aspects and highlight tribes’ efforts to address the resulting harms.
