DescriptionRecent research on the microbiology of mercury cycling in environments where mercury contamination has been recently recognized, such as the high arctic, the deep ocean, and in environments naturally enriched in geological deposits of mercury.  Factors affecting mercury bioavailability to transforming microbes will be highlighted throughout the session.
