DescriptionThis session will focus on studies that elucidate the significance and roles that DOM -mercury interactions have in controlling the transport, fate, and bioavailability of mercury in aquatic systems.  Investigations will include DOM facilitated transport of mercury, chemical speciation techniques, DOM-cinnabar interactions and DOM facilitated photochemical production of dissolved gaseous mercury.
